On the peppermint and ginger, those 2 really helped for the first round of chemo for me. On my second round of chemo they made me nauseous! We’ll see what it does for my 3rd round. Still worth giving them both a try for those who are interested

1.water hydrates to make it easier to find the veins. 2. fresh pineapple / soft ( baby ) toothbrush for mouth ulcers 3. Apple cider vinegar 1 tsp in hot water every morning ( honey optional ) plus moisturize skin. 4. Coconut water to maintain blood levels. 5. Peppermint and ginger for nausea ( ginger ale is not flavored with REAL ginger ) How are these two used? In Tea? How?

When you said that it might fell like it's forever right now, I totally felt that. I am 16 and I did my first two rounds of chemo, I have to face other three months of this shit, and I can't wait to this to be over, and feel normal and calm. Hair loss is so fucking bad. Goin to use your tips. 💕💕

Thanks for these 5+ tips. Going to try them all. Baby toothbrushes are a great idea. Also, the fresh pineapple to prevent mouth sores. I was told to swish salt, baking soda and water mixture 4 times per day by dr to keep bacteria low in mouth and doing that as well. ❤️❤️❤️thanks for sharing for those of us new to chemo!

Thank you so much for this advise - i start chemo in 5 days - i have HER + breast cancer, tumour removed but needs chemo as it's aggressive. Called him Bob the Bug - little bugger! So am now off to get coconut water and apple cider vinegar. have been taking ginseng and royal gele and have started macha tea - tastes like pond water but here goes! Little tip i have found with my IBS is to put a drop of peppermint oil in my water so will see if that also helps with the nausea. Your videos are so helpful and inspiring so a big heap of gratitude from me to you. Ruth x

The pair of you should be utterly ashamed. Its fine to believe in your own religion but it is wrong to force that religion on other people. How utterly selfish and offensive. We are taught from a young age NEVER to discuss religion or politics unless with close friends or family. Those two subjects divide people - and arguments are low vibration. You can see the lady is NOT muslim Alfia - and the other woman - she has not mentioned any religion, she is lady. Leave her alone the pair of you. You both do God a disservice.

Very helpful tips...thanks! Can you do a video about how you dealt with family/friends/strangers while you were going through your treatment? I am also interested to know how you are doing and how often you see your oncologist and have diagnostics now.

Hi Janine, I will try and get a video about that done soon for you. xx I see my oncologist every 3-4 months. I saw him yesterday for my one year check. I have an appointment with my surgeon for my next surgery in march, so my oncologist was happy to let me go until may without an appt (but always tells me to phone his secretary if i have any signs of secondary spread - bone pain, cough, sickness, headaches, etc) I had a scare back in October with some severe rib pain, but a blood test and chest x-ray ruled out secondaries (thankfully!!)

Hi, thank you for sharing. I wrote to you in your last video. I went through chemo for triple-negative. I had my right breast mastectomy, but am I'm not too happy with the implant. Tell me did you get neuropathy on hands or feet. It's going to be 1 year on March 9 I did my last chemo. I still have the side effects. Another thing my hair hadn't grown. You look beautiful and full of life. I love your hair. Any suggestions on hair growth after chemo? Should I shave my head again and let it grow? I'm so sad about my hair, eye brows and my eyelashes. But I am grateful I'm alive and cancer free. How many years did your oncologist said you need to see he/she? I was told 5 years. Again thank you for sharing. You look very beautiful. God bless. 😍

Hi Maria, Yes, I do have neuropathy in my hands - a legacy from my Doxetaxol treatments. I find it very hard to do anything involving fine motor skills - doing up buttons on shirts, opening jars, doing up jewelry are all particularly tricky. Its annoying, but could have been worse. Thank you for the compliments - i am finally feeling more myself. But i really didn't feel good for a good 10 months after chemo! Exercise and eating really well (lots of protein and vegatables) have helped my recovery. My oncologist wants to see me every 4 months for 5 years. Triple negative is a sneaky cancer as there is no targetted treatment options for us. I'm also BRCA1 so at high risk of other cancers :( I hope you start to feel a bit better soon. xx

@@gettingwiggywithit3500 Thank You sweetie. Although we are in different country we still shared a hard journey. I believe in the power of prayer. So I'll be keeping you in my prayers. I just started a program called Livestrong through the YMCA it's a community gym. It's 12 weeks to bulit muscle strength and get people in a regimen of exercising just stay strong and healthy. Did you go through any depression? I went into a deep depression and anxiety. I had 2 therepist and a life coach that helped me very much. Anyway love seeing knowing you are well and looking beautiful. God bless you always! ❤
