Let's talk about Chenin Blanc, Semillon Blanc, and Furmint. Three white grape varieties that share a unique trait: they produce sweet wines affected by Noble Rot or Botrytis.
Each of them also yields unique wines specific to their appellations. Definitely grape varieties that you need to be on the lookout for.
This is the second video in a series dedicated to all the wine varieties that you will learn during your WSET L2 in Wines course.

is Vouvray a wine or a region I am trying to understand question No: 2

You will notice that European wines, in this case Vouvray, are named by the location (region or smaller subregions), and not by the grapes as in wine regions outside Europe. To answer your question, Vouvray is the name of the appellation/village that is made by Chenin Blanc grape. Please let me know if this is clear. Stay Thirsty and Wise
