I’m so envious of your access to this type of small material. Great looking specimen with an interesting root spread. Our garden centers here in the US always seem to have more mature material and our big box stores and supermarkets tend to stock mostly shrubs. So I’m left living vicariously ;-) Looks great, keep growing. Thanks

I'm often wishing I could find something a little more mature to work with, at a reasonable price of course but can't. Grass is always greener and all that! Stay safe Matt

What a lovely little tree. I think the canopy is starting to get a nice shape to it. I can imagine how nice it will look next spring when blooming.

Great little gem! Small internodes, lovely flowers, strong growth - what more can you want in a bonsai?!? Sid - when do you repot stone fruit trees so as to avoid disease, but maximize flowering?

Depends on the species of Cherry. Some flower kater in the season than others. I repotted this one while it was still in flower. It needed little root work so I didn't need to touch the top untill it was actively growing. Generally speaking though late winter is usually best. There are several good guides online that give specific advice per species so if you know what you have you could try there. Stay safe
