This ISN'T a fan dub. This localization was done by the Korean publisher and the song is sung by the same singer as the Japanese version. It's official. This was done when the Korean PS2 market was very successful back in early 2000s. After the first one came out, the Korean market became saturated with piracy, so no more localization was done for the sequels.

@divinecupid: Well, not all fan dubbers in the USA are like that. Though there are certainly a lot. I haven't done any fan dubbing as of yet, but if I did, I would take it completely seriously, as I do with any music or art.

yes actually... the flower of happiness song that plays if you beat the game with the good ending. 행복의 꽃. Like this version i think it is easier to download than the japanese version, so many disgaea fans probibly already have it^_^ most people lable it as Henguboku gochu or something like that... which would be the japanese pronunciation of the korean name.. i wonder what the japanese name for the song is...?

If you mean Flower of Happiness, it's Shiawase no Hana. If you mean Ode to Laharl it's Laharl sama no sanbiku(Sp?). I have the japanese soundtrack so...yeah, I hope that's helpful?

Its actually not difficult to pronounce correctly. Singing in other language is simple, well to me any ways. I can tell the difference between Japanese and Korean but she does sound like she carries a Japanese accent.

True. It's very sad, but not many people in the USA take anything seriously. I really hate that about being in the US. I kinda wish I lived in Japan or at least knew Japanese. Don't worry, I have the same issue with fan dubbing. ^^; I like being different from everyone else, but I do wish that more people were like me. It would make my life a whole lot easier.

The point is that Japanese speakers have a hard time with korean... Korean is way different in terms of pronunciation... none of my korean friends can understand what the song is without looking at lyrics. But your right that its alot easier to sing in another language... its just that this singer sucks at it
