same, for me its like 13-14 years have passed since i watched it first time - it blew my mind when i was teen, and i still always return at least for the music. this is masterpiece in all aspects. hope people will never forget "desu noto" :) and yeah - if you need to think and solve things or just concetrate DN soundtrack is just perfect. Hideki Taniuchi and Yoshihisa Hirano real geniuses

By the way He spent 4 hours studying not solving a single problem (Ref. In that episode he explans that from 7-11 am he studied consistently without a break. A true genius would do that! Invest as much time as possible into the task)

I swear man. I watched death note 3 times . And since then i have been searching for something ground breaking like this or atleast something similar but found none. There's a lot of good anime, and some great anime too. But there's absolutely nothing else quite like Death Note. I've spent 9 years trying to find something else that I love as much as Death Note, and I've never succeeded. I'll always be so nostalgic of the first time I watched it when I was 16 back in 2013.

While listening to this I remembered that I was able to get decent marks for my 10th grade exam because of this anime's OST, unfortunately in the past I never paid any attention to studies and had like 59% overall. Decided to be serious for once and got 83% which may not be a lot for others but it is for me, grinded for 8-10 hours a day for exams which had 5-7 day gaps while listening to death note's OSTs.

I became totally absorbed in the death note world. So much so, that i started prioritizing rationality, became an excellent student and subjects such as philosophy and politics now pique me with interest. Which is quite surprising considering the fact that i always deemed them as useless. It was really a change of perspective.

@MystxryBanxna false. neither the manga nor the anime ever mentions that the death note has any sort of effect like that, making two different personalities. nor it has any rule like that. then why did misa amane remain the same ? light was always a psychopath/sociopath. he always had the same sense of justice, always had an "evil" side. getting the death note made him act upon it. after forgetting all the memories of the notebook, sure light became sane. but if he was given the notebook then, he would turn out to be the same as before.

I actually studied for what I thought was one of the hardest exams in my life (Roman Law) with this vid and brown noise on repeat lol, I watched like 2-3 episodes of death note a long time ago and should probably watch it again when I got some free time. Edit: got a great mark, more than a 9 (as the teacher only published the finals, and my paritals weren't really good, so I might have even got a 10 lol). Thanks for this lad.

I always thought how awesome it would be if the Manga creator started a spin off series of death note, where it's about L and his detective career before the Kira case. And they could totally do it as well, it wouldn't be that difficult.

Just finished death note and this feeling is the worsttt, I can’t ever get over it. Light and L’s deaths were just too much, especially the fact that he died on a STAIRCASE like seriouslyyy and defeated by two people that came from outta no where

the staircase was actually a nice touch,It was meant to signify that light coudnt go to heaven( at the top of the staircase) nor to hell (at the bottom of the staircase).Instead he died halfway and became a shinigami.
