I love your Black Lion course and the queenless middlegame positions are so easy to get on the board to practise. I've been playing the tame Lion with 3...e5 for over a year now and more than 9 out of 10 of my opponents in the 1900 range exchanges queens. I think they all think they get an advantage by taking away my castling rights.

Good sportsmanship Simon, 95 accuracy against a GM isn’t just a very good game. Either the best game of their life, or a regular game for the engine…

I'd try to scare the rook away from the 5th rank and take the pawn on d4. The rook doesn't have many squares. Maybe f5, take the pawn with the king and use g5, h5 to make the rook leave the 5th rank? This approach seems a little dangerous though...

Engine solution: Get both rooks on the 5th rank (rooks on d5 and a5), push b4 and win a pawn !

Yes, Simon, never beg! Besides, you don't need to. You have a loyal group of steadfast admirers here! One of these days I'm going to go to England and I'm going to hunt you down, take you to a pub, and play some chess with you (probably get my ass kicked, but that's alright)!

It was a simple game, the nature of it was not challenging so I don't suspect any cheating.

I would have played rc8, instead of rd7, but i do not know if it is the right way.

My thought as well, Rc8 and there's no good way to defend the d pawn.

25:35 the move was Rc7 and the white king shouldn't come to b5 because its own pawns are cannot be defended
@GeoffFClark
@GeoffFClark 5 ай бұрын
There was Rc7 after cxd4 Rxd4, but before rook takes rook on d4. White king has one less tempo since it can’t go to b5

I think you get confused by the game review system sometimes. The 'Analysis' tab on the left after you press game review and the accuracies pop up gives you the engine lines

Better to email for business inquiries.. people like to keep that somewhat separate from content feedback, which is what these comments tend to be. But you have great numbers, and simon could use the exposure!

I mean when you look this account it is obvious that he is cheating, he has lost few games in a row and then he made 95% against grandmaster I mean it is really annoying. Anyway we can see how Simon is a great player because he drew a engine. Keep going Simon!
