Skill is expertise. Strategy is how many plans are there. Technique is the same as skill. i would replace technique with tactics because it makes more sense don't know about IQ though.

Chess just needs more tedious work 🙄 Like the insane amount of openings. There's no intelligence in that just plain memorization. And the amount of different pieces is more about focus than iq. Simpler doesn't mean easier. Checkers don't leave you a chance to hide your unintelligence with more preparation or focus. P. S. It's just my take on the situation, I'm obviously no professional

You have no clue about chess. It’s not about openings lmao wtf? How are you going to memorize a middle game and a endgame? Those are like the 5/6th of the game. Plus, openings aren’t something you just memorize. You have to figure out how to develop your pieces based on how your opponents respond. Checkers is a game old people play at the train station.

Technically the Checker pieces don't have to checkmate the king i would say they would rather have to take him out because or else there would be noway to checkmate also the chess pieces would have to take out all the checkers pieces

What you do is basically not move any paws and just attack with your knights since its impossible in checkers to take 1 square diagonally.
