Betterhelp has been shown time and time again to scam their customers, using unlicensed """therapists""" and harming rather than helping those struggling with their mental health. Very disappointing brahs, really hoping you just didn't do your research on your sponsorship rather than taking it knowing full well the damage they've caused in the past.

What a fascinating question!! "Cheater or Not? You decide!" In the first game the only move that stood out for me was WorstOpeningOnly's Bb7; when Eric mentioned it after it appeared at 4:19 I could kind of see how it was an odd move because b7 didn't seem to threaten anything, or provide the Bishop with more scope, or land the Bishop an especially good outpost in the next move or two. Though it could have been a "whatever, I just need to make a safe move and not burn the clock" move. And the second game ... I had no clue it could have been a cheater.

My guess before seeing the reveal - First game - not cheating. Play seemed too fast to relay moves to an engine then back to The board. Some moves seemed strange, but I feel the opponent could have been getting lucky/just having a good day. Second game - cheating. Time usage was slow and consistent in the opening and early middle game for a blitz game. Seemingly not caring about weakening the king with the g6 pawn push (for no obvious reason) and letting the b7 pawn hang seems very computer-like to me. I believe the cheating stopped once the moves got faster. May have just been trying to flag when Eric’s time was getting low.
@the_first_Transhuman

There are some chess bots that have mods “human like play”, so they can play fast but not too fast. Or they just highlight on the board the best moves so u don’t need to look up on the other screen, all happens pretty fast. Especially if u practice it on a daily basis. So speed itself is not a 100% sign that he is cheating or not. However, yes, if he spends much time on an obvious move then yeah he is very likely cheating
