Don't know whose idea it was to put these two geniuses together on one stage, but it had to have been someone in heaven, because that's how they sound. Fabulous.

The competition is to make us sound better. We makes me bigger better and more fun than me alone. Like they sound like one big guitar. Absolutely gorgeous. I was almost thinking one wasn't in the mix. The teamwork makes the dream work

Ghani Amor Chaoui I first heard of Stanley about 8 years ago when my college room mate, a classical guitar major, put some songs on by him. Still that is 10 years after he has been around, I think he deserves more attention/recognition.

Stanley's solo was BOSS. Don't really know why people are saying there were weird notes... those weird notes are meant to create tension and make the solo more interesting

@@ryreinhardt just relistened - Stanley had one "wrong" note at 3:01, which was a leading note up the the tonic, so specifically to add tension. His solo was more interesting than Grandpa Chet's imo

If you watch Chet in any of the videos where he's playing with someone else, he is always really focused on what the other person is doing. I taught myself how to play guitar in the late 50s listening to Chet Atkins and Lonnie Mack. To great ones for sure.

What's all the hubub about? Stanley's notes at 3:02 were purposeful accidentals that fit perfectly. Like seriously, you can't diss Stanley. He frickin plays the guitar like a piano. Chet, as always, was simply magnificent.
