Chet is a massive match-up problem, centers are too slow and others are too short, plus the oppositions best perimeter defender has to guard SGA. He'll bury 3's if the big is in drop and blow by him on the dribble if he closes out. So even if Chet can't guard Embiid (nobody can!), Embiid can't really guard Chet either - using this example cuz when they played they each put 30+ on each other.

I don't agree that his ceiling would be worse if he had played last year nothing can replace the experience and growth of playing 82 games in the NBA. Even now Chet becomes a better player when he plays the same player second time the best example of this is against Gobert the first time Gobert destroyed Chet but in his second match up Chet played so well. Gonzaga didn't allow Chet to self create so we didn't see his full talent but now he is doing it

I don’t think Chet was physically read for the NBA as a rookie at-all! As we saw with his foot injury. Chet was even quoted saying that he could have come back during his initial rookie season but organizationally they decided to keep him out to develop him further for his long term career.

We see with our own eyes my man. Whether you take back anything you said, has no bearing on on what I see Chet Holmgren doing. Rookie or 15 year veteran.

Chet always had the prerequisite strength. All of the things you see defensively would of translated first year because the strength is not what makes any rim protector great its their instincts around the rim, second hop ability and length. Most of the best rim protectors werent perfectly weighted guys they had mobility and the also the ability to recover better than 90% of the league. Bill Russel was like 6'8 undersized even for the time and dominating the rim. The only thing that change was the shot consistency. Keep in mind when he was hurt he was in a wheelchair, none of what you guys think worked on actually happened. The only thing he could work on was form shooting from a wheel chair and then light movement shooting a month before the season. You guys got it wrong. Thank god the front office didnt but old heads refused to see what the position was going to and didnt want to see it work. too bad.

Umm, “perfectly weighted” is different from requisite strength. This is just basics of physical development. I am obviously talking about the work he put in after getting out of the wheelchair.

I find it crazy how a person who never played an NBA game has such a philosophical assessment, whoever is giving this content needs to check himself

I ain’t gotta check nothin bro! I watch more NBA basketball than you could fathom. By the time I post something I’ve watched some of these games, in-full, 2-3X. I’ve done more in the sport than you you are even aware exists to do. Crazy, yeah I might seem crazy to a novice.

You start off apologizing about your feelings about Chet Holmgren, for about a minute. Then you began saying that this reason and that reason was why he may be ROY but at the exact same time, you explain that he really isn't a rookie. Very very lame my friend.
