Considering that these guys are from Illinois. I often wondered if this song was about the UFO sighting in Highland Illinois in the year 2000. It seemed very fitting towards the concept of the album. The police chased an unidentified object that apparently looked like a floating silent house, or triangle until it disappeared from their sight. To this day it still remains unknown. Scott Air force base, and Boeing claimed that they had no aircraft in the sky at those times.

Trevor Philips I was reading about and interview where they talked about his song. Apparently Chevelle was living in a haunted house. Pete's brother came to him saying he thought strange things were happening in a specific room and Pete agreed. One day they saw a lady standing out front of their house and when they came out side and walked up to talk to her, she said "We buried our father in the back yard here. Is that Illegal?" Pete wrote this song by his on his own and the story kinda originated from that.

It’s so interesting! I look into all of chevelles music a lot of it holds more than one meaning but since this written just by Pete I’m pretty sure it is about the APPARITION they saw.

It's a concert guys. Peter knows how crowds operate. He doesn't feel disrespected, they all just paid 25 dollars for a ticket and bought 10 dollar beers all night. Calm down.

@philandrobert1980 ofc it's feeling the song but it's a shame sometimes,if you want to listen it to it live on youtube and all you hear is "whoooooooooo" .... :-)

If i was a musician in this position, i would have just stopped singing. The audience is so rude and disrespectful, but Pete sings for the select few that are entranced by his voice and actually appreciate the music Chevelle creates. It really shows the dividing line between the true fans and those that are only there for Chevelle's mainstream songs.
