yeah its a lot closer than i thought it would be.....its sucks they didnt come stock boosted. They could have really done better with that car. They were pretty popular in the 90's but somehow lost it and became a fucking SUV

I've owned both of these cars, simultaneously. The eclipse gt vs a stock ls1 won't hold a candle to a c5. Now a stock vr4 might have a chance, but doubtful. Stock gsx eclipse won't see anything but tail lights from all three. Supercharge that v6 gt and then you'll see it playing with that c5. Otherwise it's the c5 all day. Love jdms though.

3.8 swap to the 3g eclipse with a 5 or 6 speed bet it do better

Damn the Corvette won by A LOT, the speed displayed at the end was a huge difference, 173 vs 159.

Actually, that's their speed in kilometers per hour. The eclipse was 159 or about 98MPH. The Vette was 173, or 107. The video cuts off before they show times but based on those trap speeds, the Eclipse ran mid-high 14s and the Vette mid-high 13s.
