Once again a pleasure watching you work, Eric O., top diagnostic skills such as yours are so hard to come by these days. You've also shown us in the past what many already know too, even dealers aren't the best troubleshooters. I once ran into one of GM's famous copper coated aluminum battery cables that literally turned green from within and swelled the cable jacket, no punctures but a completely dissolved section of wire inside with zero current flow, first time I had seen such a thing. Great video Dr. O.

Quality addition with the rubber hose to ensure no future problem at that junction point. Who else would do that? nobody!!! Thanks for going the extra mile!

I don't think you should be disappointed in yourself Eric, you went back and checked before calling parts, so kudos to you. I really like the approach to isolating location of the break, back feeding a known voltage up to the fuse box is genius. I particularly like the videos "on location" where you don't have many tools available so you're now in the same world as the driveway diy'er, but your knowledge and diagnostic process more than makes up for the lack of gear. Want to see more of you grovelling on the ground under a vehicle, though ;-).

That's what I like about the way you work. You putting that little piece of hose in the bottom of that fuse box to prevent that wire from getting cut was great ! The average shop would not do that, or even think about it. That type of thinking separates the men from the boys ... Great job dude !!

I am not a mechanic, have no interest in being a mechanic and would hesitate doing any work on our Audi or BMW. I concluded the reason I look forward to your videos is 1. You are a "professional" in every sense of the word. Your talented, take pride in your work and consistently strive to do the best you can. Those are qualities we all can strive to emulate and 2.
