Glad you like the set up. Did you run a thermostat switch to the relays? That will sense the coolant hit a certain temp, say 190, then automatically kick on the fan. You can keep an eye on the temp gauge and use the switch as an override if needed. Also, you need to be aware of the amperage being pulled from the fan as well as the water pump, fuel pump, whatever. At idle you may need an alternator that's capable of 60 amps at 900 rpm. A fan that size may pull 18a to kick on and 16a to run. The water pump is probably close to that as well. If you add lights, and other accessories, you may have issues around idle. A therm switch will also kill the fan at, or soon after shut down so you're not draining your batt.

You should be good with your single electric fan. I have a single derale electric fan on my 496 and it's pumps! I've driven my car in the summer around 90 degrees and humid outside and it only got up too 200 degrees. Plus I have heavy iron heads. You'll be good bro! 👍

After watching this video and hearing how cool the water temps are. For some reason people think these low umbers are good. The Fact Chevrolet Engineering designed both small & Big blocks to run between 190 & 210 degrees no matter what cubic inch the motor is. There are reasons for that. 160 / 180 your not burning out the moisture. and that creates problems for the metal parts by making varnish. You can see that in engines that are driven and never allowed to get hot, they build sludge. 190/210 is not running Hot. Wiring the pump so you can run the pump after shutting off the motor is good. Chevy says the least amount of wear on internal parts is when that engine is between 190/210. Good luck You have a nice car.

Also note that not all fan company's advertised "CFM Rating" is true, With my Spal i have to say that i believe them 100%.
