The Chicago Cubs shutout the Baltimore Orioles 4-0 on Wednesday night at Camden Yards. The win means the Cubs have won back-to-back series for the first time since mid-April and the Cubs have won three straight for the first time since a four game win streak April 23-26.
Shota Imanaga delivered six shutout innings, and the Cubs bullpen pitch a scoreless final three frames. With the emergence of Porter Hodge and Hunter Bigge plus Mark Leiter Jr. and Julian Merrweather getting healthy - could the Cubs bullpen become a strength of this team?
Christopher Morel homered and Michael Busch, Nico Hoerner, Cody Bellinger and Dansby Swanson all had multi-hit games. PCA also returned to the Cubs' starting lineup.
Cody Bellinger was removed from the game after being hit by a pitch on his middle finger, Craig Counsell said he didn't think he could throw a ball.
Cubs look for the sweep on Thursday.
