I love that chief Boden acknowledges that she can handle herself but also that he stands behind her. He's not trying to fight he's just trying to end it.

But his brain would have been without oxygen for an unknown amount of time. Restarting their heart isn't the same as saving a life. Their quality of life might be worse, and in a world where we don't have the right to choose to end our life that could be worse

This reminds me of a case of a woman walking from her broken down car to her friends house; he found her literally frozen solid in his yard in the morning, as in he couldn't even move her body to fit in the car properly frozen solid. They got her to the ER where after a long time of warming her up very slowly, she awoke with no brain damage and perfect use of all of her limbs. The doctors were BAFFLED.
