Despite a City of Chicago website dedicated to tracking how nearly $300 million was spent on the migrant crisis, many aspects of the migrant crisis remain shrouded in secrecy - most notably how migrant shelter sites are selected and how much building owners are profiting off the migrant crisis.

Mayoral elections are held in the late winter /early spring (for runoffs). The next Mayoral election will take place in 2027. Aldermen are also elected on the same timetable as mayor. So late winter/ early spring of 2027.

Love how they use consultants and intermediaries such as "Equitable Social Solutions" so more people can grift. Makes it more difficult to follow the money. It's also why they rejected offers from landlords directly. Much of government spending works this way, and why politicians become millionaires. Here in California they have been using social services to launder money for decades.
