I grew up down the street from this store. The owners of this store owned the building my family and I lived in during the 90s and 2000s. Glad to see they've gotten recognition for their food. It's amazing.

I visited Chicago this past week and made sure to go to Martinez and get one of the 3 pound burritos before I left. Excellent food. I did eat the whole thing, and it didn't put me to sleep. But I sure didn't have any hunger pangs during the 11-hour drive home!

I see plenty of recipes on youtube. A lot of them old put dated but still fun. But this was just awesome to watch. A recipe literally out of this world. As a chef I give this one 10 out of 10. Just tasting it on my pallet I'm drulling like I just ate it. Will And has to be made for the family

Taco Burrito house on Broadway just south of Irving park is my favorite. They have real steak meat and pork seasoned to perfection I get half n half. They also crisp up the bread on the grill so it holds up better.

The problem with a huge burrito is unless the ingredients are spread out inside you get stuck with big chunks of one ingredient per bite

Agreed, but at 2:30 observe how well the veggies etc. are distributed. That is why, in my opinion, grilled burritos are the best. Not only do they develop that delicious crust, but grilling lets the ingredients to distribute more evenly.

I lived in Chicago and I've never had a chorizo burrito , But we used go to Ramon's burritos that served huge beef burritos too but can't remember the street.
