That’s a tree kangaroo in Australia! And (fittingly) a Malayan Tapir in Malaysia.

A true geoguessr problem. Recognizes palm oil plantations in Malaysia but not what a tapir is. XD thanks for the vid CG

Just because it's the only thing I noticed that you didn't: on the Ontario round, we were right outside an LCBO store, which is the provincial government alcohol chain, ending in O for Ontario, so you could've got the province from that. (Similarly, SAQ ends in Q, so you know it's the Québec version, but also urban Québec is usually not hard to pick out anyway.)

Bro I went Jersey on that UK round on the islands map because I read the name of the map and I thought Jersey is an island and it would make sense with the Gen 2... Completely forgot Britan itself is also an island lol. Also took me too long to realise the best strategy on the Chicago map is to guess in the same area every single time

Awesome video. For round 3 of the Canada map, those street signs are ottawa area ones, very distinct, also explains the bilingualism

I could be wrong but when I was making the island map it seemed like creating polygon maps only yields streetview coverage. I noticed when I would polygon smaller islands with only a couple photospheres it would add zero locations to the total

the australian sign is a tree kangaroo, they only live in queensland and papua new guinea, the malaysian sign is a tapir

I tried asking ChatGPT what the animal in the Australian sign was and after some back and forth it suggested the tree-kangaroo which seems to be correct. Looks like they only inhabit a very small area in Australia, more common in New Guinea.

Is the tournament unhackable or is it based on the honor system? Basically, is this an actual legit tournament or is just for casual players who can use cheat scripts or google the location ect?
