My name is Bre. I took two years of small engine repair at the local college. When I left school, I fell into a wonderful job at a local small engine shop where I worked the counter for a couple years. In 2010 my husband and I opened up our own small engine shop in central Arkansas where I am able to work alongside my family and best friends. We see over 2,000 pieces of small engine equipment every year, and answer 1,000's of small engine questions. We specialize in brands such as Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Echo and Shindaiwa, but work everyday on MANY other brands like Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Craftsman, Remington, Red Max, Troy Bilt, Scag, Bad Boy, Hustler, World Lawn, Poulan, Mantis, Etc.. Hopefully, my experience I share, will save you Time, Money and Frustration in the future!

Bre, because I lost $10k in tools and eqpt in a crash in 2015 on my drive to NY from SW Florida when I blew a tire at 75mph, jacknifed, trailer axle broke, truck totaled, I had to retire. I've recently begun obtaining some tools so I can get back to small engine repair if only as a hobby. For that reason alone your videos are invaluable to me. I also love the entertainment and educational value. You are my small engine guru! I'm a retired car mechanic who's too old and arthritic to be back in it. I'm living vicariously through your videos! I am 80 years old, and I am learning many great tips from your videos. If I were 20 and lived nearby, I would volunteer to work in your shop for free because you are the sharpest, most logical mechanic I have had the pleasure of observing. Some people making videos are a waste of time, even if they know what they are doing, they fail at relating in a clear and understandable manner. Your presentations make me want to go repair something. You really make so much sense when you explain something. Thanks for the excellent tips and presentations. Harry

He refuses to ask me for help or advice… until I started watching your channel over a year ago. My little secret is you. You asked if you helped with your knowledge and advice.. you can’t hear me on the other side of screen but I yell “yes” after every episode. Not only have you saved me money and many hours of fixing frustrations, you have given me the knowledge to teach my dad a few things. Many many thanks to you!!

Thank you for your videos. I have worked on my own equipment with the help of you tube for awhile now and I will say You have helped me more than anyone else out there. The way you describe everything and how thorough you are is awesome. I have learned something from everyone of your videos I’ve watched and I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me and the world. I thank you again, stay cool out there this summer.

Yes you have saved me time, money and frustration. I'm 67 and was helping my dad work on farm equity since I was 5 years old. I have been doing nearly all of the mechanic work work since. And YET you have helped me a ton. If you ever want to get out of the heat and high humidity of Arkansas come to North Idaho especially Post Falls. Love to show you around a place completely different from there.

I discovered your videos a few weeks ago. I was about to take my weedeater/ tiller power head to a shop. Instead I followed your advice and got fresh fuel and it runs as good as ever. I learn something from each videonI watch. Thank you.

I love all of your tips, tricks and repair notes. I now live on about 8 acres, so i have accumulated a handful of items with small engines. I'm also retired, so that leaves me as the repair and maintenance guy. Your best tip to me: water in the fuel tank, gas or diesel. Yup, that one has stopped me a couple of times. Please keep those tips coming, from simple to complex, they're all great!

I want to start by thanking you for your content. You have helped me fix several of my Husqvarna chainsaws. I used to be nervous about digging into some of these things. But now, if I'm nervous about it, I just pull up one of your videos and follow it. Step by step, with good results at the end. So again, thank you for putting this out there for everyone.

Thank you for all of the information you provide on this channel! Your common sense steps to solving small engine issues has helped me 'fix' my 20+ year old mini-tiller, ECHO leaf blower, string mower, and John Deere lawn tractor...all equipment that in the past I had taken to the experts and spent lots of $$$ (on carb cleaning/replace, fuel filter/line, changing oil, chainsaw sharpening) ugh! I'm not an expert but you've given me the confidence to look at a small engine issue before just automatically calling the repair shop. Thanks again Bree!

You deserve it girl. I just found your channel a little over an hour ago. I have to admit, your tutorials are spot on. You do not miss a thing. That is how I learn best. I like to know the why's and what happens if, etc. And you seem to cover them all. I will eventually watch all of your videos Im sure. They are well made and you are an exceptional mechanic and teacher. I admit I am impressed. Keep it up. Thanks👊💯

I really find your videos informative and backed up with common sense. I first went to school for marine and small engine repair from 1976-1978. My High School had a multi district Vo Tech on site. Those were pretty good times because due to overcrowding we had double sessions, i was able to start at 6:30 and then leave for my full time job at 10:30 working as a motorcycle mechanic (we also sold and serviced Stihl power equipment). Now fast forward 45+ years and a number of different jobs ranging from building submarines (winding up as a journeyman machinist), logging, carpentry, automotive mechanic (with multiple national awards along the way), Tech Rep for Snap On Tools, and so on. I only mention this to point out that I will never be too old to stop learning. You have pointed out many things that I just forgot over the years so i like to sit with my coffee in the AM and have my brain "Tuned Up Again". Thank you for your content and common sense approach to problems.

Thank you, Bree, for taking the time to educate your viewers. Your videos have helped me on several occasions. I have also helped some friends with their lawn equipment problems. The vast majority of the issues that I've encountered were fuel related with water being #1. Your tip on how to get the diaphragm on a chainsaw flexible again has also helped several times. Let the education continue.

The pressure washer thing is the most common thing we dealt with (during the sporing and summer) when I worked in a tool rental/repair place. We'd always ask our customers how long they'd let it run without it being actually used. And most of them would say, "Oh, just a few minutes. I'd start it and let it warm up before I start using it. Then it might sit for a bit while I did a couple other things between actually using it." Yep, that's why your pump failed and locked up. If no water is flowing through it, then it's really not being cooled. And just about every time, they'd opt to just buy a new pressure washer (rather begrudgingly) rather than have the pump replaced. And as far as the ethanol free gas goes, I just use fuel stabilizer/ethanol remover in mine. I put in regular gas, then add in the stabilizer. I've never, ever had an issue with one of my 2-stroke machines starting. Even my chainsaw that might sit for over a year before use. I don't drain the fuel out during the winter for "storage", either. I've been told that it'll ruin my engines. But I've never had an issue with any of them starting. And I've had them all for years and have been doing this the entire time. Granted, I live in the south, like you, so our grass cutting season is longer than places where the winter is an actual 3-5 months long (our is maybe a month). Still...
