Hi Lola, thank you for your inspiring recipes. I’m a fan of yours from Australia. I tried the technique you used in weaving the dough with pastry and it worked just fine. I wanted to send the picture but I don’t know how to attach the picture. I’ll keep trying and send it when I’m able. Keep doing the good job. 😍

Tried yesterday, use whole kampong chicken to bake & get 330g of meat & bone boil to broth to use instead of water, bread flour add 60g wholegrain flour, 2 tbsp demerara sugar 2tbsp Condensed Milk, 50g unsalted butter the rest follow the same. busy wholeday , top brush eggwash sprinkle some sesame seeds & parmesan cheese baked at 11pm, my first bite..... wow.... beautiful, better than chicken pie.....Big thanks to Chef Lola's you leads the way, it's worth trying, thanks again.

Chef Lola thanks I had to watch the video like 6 or 8 times before I gave it a try I was so nervous but at the end it turned out great my bread was not so soft but everything was perfect.

This is such a great and fun recipe! You can even make a vegetarian filling for it replacing the chicken with mushrooms, or make it with a fruit or jam filling for dessert! Thank you for this recipe! And Sister you look beautiful!

It will last for a day because of the Chicken. However, it freezes so well and you can thaw and warm it when you need it.

I used instant yeast which does not really need to be proofed. You will need to proof it if you are using the active dry yeast or any other yeast.
