I had to laugh.. Hawks are backyard chickens enemy.. they swoop down and grab and go. So they have become named "chicken hawks". The top of the chicken head has a "comb" and the bottom of the head has a "waddle". I had no idea of any of these terms until I entered the wonderful world of backyard chickens. Love these chicken pincushions... but I won't tell my birds that it's a hawk ;) They would run for cover!!
