We found some chicken of the wood in the autumn , so excited we were. We sell mushrooms and since then I have fallen in love with fungi, who would have thought.

Thanks so much. New subscriber, hope you can keep it up. I've been searching for this fungi for a while with no luck. I did have shaggy ink caps for breakfast though. Thanks again.

I found one in may/june on a fallen oak tree. I fried mine in flour egg and breadcrumbs. I only took a little as i find too much makes me feel like it's too rich.
