A delicious Potato Chop Recipe with Chicken Mince. These most-loved Chicken Potato Chops are an all-time favorite Recipe and feature in the East Indian and Goan Cuisines.
Potato Chops are generally made during festive occasions or get-togethers or Sunday meals. These can have a stuffing of either beef, chicken, mutton, shrimps, or any other filling of your choice.

Ingredients for Potato Chops
1 Kg Potatoes Boiled and mashed
½ Kg Mince Chicken, Beef or Mutton
For the mince filling -
3 medium onions finely chopped
6 - 7 pcs green chillies finely chopped (use as per your spice level)
1 inch pc ginger finely chopped
5 - 6 cloves garlic finely chopped
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp garam masala powder *see notes
1 tsp pepper powder
3-4 sprigs coriander leaves chopped
Mint leaves optional
1 medium lemon extract the juice
salt to taste
For frying the chops -
2 eggs beaten with a little salt
1 - 2 cups bread crumbs
Oil for shallow frying

You haven't mentioned in your description box of adding red chilli powder and turmeric powder..Do we need to add or no ?

So sorry for missing out the ingredients in the description box, have updated it now. Thank you so much Thresa. Adding chilli powder is optional, I generally add it for chicken but skip when using mutton or beef mince.
