I was lucky enough to go to chiclets cup since I'm a student here in Buffalo. All the guys were so nice top to bottom, amazing weekend, can't thank these guys enough. During the saturday games I went up to Whit and asked him where RA was, without skipping a beat all he said was "A gutter... idk", it was fkin hilarious and exactly something he wouldve said on the pod. Great weekend

When PC came over to the Martimes to play Junior A, he suited up for the Restigouche Tigers (Now known as the Campbellton Tigers) of the MJAHL, and went on an absolute tear. 43 Goals, 43 Assists, 153 PIMS, in 54 games. He joined the Drakkar for the playoffs that season, and then the next season, he cracked the regular season roster and put up good numbers in the Q as a 20 year old rookie.

PC was an animal with the icehogs. I remember him fighting Jordan Binnington and also remember his last year with us he didn’t get his first goal of the year until the last game of the season and it was with like 4 minutes to go in the third I think.

I really think you guys are underselling this Wings team. I’m not saying they’re winning the Atlantic but I think they’re closer to the Wild Card than you guys think. This rebuild didn’t start until Yzerman was hired with how badly Holland managed his last 5 years. This is a process. The last 2 years have been nice with the progress. We have a decent base with Larkin, Seider, and Raymond. I expect them to take another step. Rasmussen and Walman are a little underrated. Perron and Copp were solid pickups. We were in the final playoff spot after Game 57 last year while still missing a lot of pieces. We needed more goals. Brought in DeBrincat, Gostisbehere, Sprong and Compher. Needed more physicality. Brought in Kostin and Holl. Petry may bounce back playing in his hometown. This is the most depth the org. has had since around 2014. No first or second year players on opening day roster. Edvinsson, Kasper, Berggren, Soderblom, Cossa and Mazur can get top minutes in the A. Nate Danielson looked NHL ready in preseason. Goaltending is the biggest question mark. If Husso, Reimer, or Lyon can get hot it would be huge. This team won’t dominate but they’re a lot better than Grinnell’s lazy take of “they stink”. Should be another fun year, playoffs or not

Love the Dahlin talk! I actually think Owen Power has as much upside as Dahlin but either way, with Samuelsson locked up through the 2029-2030 season, that blue line has a solid core. Goaltending will be the x-factor this season.

Eric Neilson, fucking legend. I pulled a RA and got into the Admirals Cup party in Toronto. Neilson was helping hoist the cup for all of the friends and family to drink out of. What a fucking night. Now that I think of it, the friend who got me in was a friend of Labrie. But yeah, get Neilson on next.

As a Bruins fan, what ill say in regards to Coyle and Zacha at center is that if you look at those guys careers, both first round picks (Zacha was what...6th overall?). Both drafted as centers who then were forced to play wing on those teams. Both were always considered the "next generation of high scoring power forwards." Both have a lethal shot, but just have never gotten the proper ice time and powerplay time at their natural positions. Both have sneaky sick hands. I think they can both defend well, which will be the identity of the entire team. Are either gonna hit 70-80 points? Most likely not, but dont be surprised if Zacha comes out of nowhere and scores 30 goals. Same with Coyle. I think they both will benefit greatly from the systems already in place. Also lets be honest, last year towards the end Krejci looked pretty cooked and Bergeron was banged up bad. Coyle and Zacha were awesome and like the boys said, stepped up in those guys' absences. I think theyll be fine. Pasta will score 50, the defense will be nails, good penalty killing, i see them sticking around the 3rd spot in the Atlantic behind Toronto and one of either Tampa, Buffalo or Ottawa. And we all know, once playoffs start, its all about who can defend and tend the net.
