Here's why I think Worthy could be special on the Chiefs. When they traded Hill away they could have used all those picks to trade up and get the fastest guy, but they didn't, and won a Superbowl.. That year they actually lead the league in 20+ yard plays. Next draft they could have decided we need to get a fast guy so we have more air yards per pass instead of depending on YAC, but they didn't, and won a Superbowl. Now, it would be fairly easy for a team that just went back to back to say, "even with our struggles, what we're doing works." However, they thought Worthy was worth trading up simply so the 49ers, or some team trading back into the first, didn't have a chance to grab him. I really don't think one year of subpar receiver play would be enough to scare Reid into drafting the fastest guy in the draft unless he saw some real potential in him. They resisted doing that for two years when it would have been pretty understandable if they did. Kind of like when the Titans replaced AJ Brown with a guy who's name I can't remember, but who's comp during the draft was AJ Brown.

People aren't understanding the new kick off rules and how that will take into effect the swing of games. Cheifs are masterminds with getting the rugby player & Worthy. With Hollywood & Worthy torching DBs & Kelce & Rice working intermediate the Cheifs are the scariest offense in NFL. Mahomes will win his 3rd NFL MVP & possibly go 20-0 !! @maskassmario321 have you seen Worthy play? He's phenomenal, hit 1k yards receiving and the Longhorns had many great wide receivers to throw to last year so he didn't get as many looks. He's extremely fast and has great hands. He'll be the Chiefs #1 before end of next season. Wish my Cowboys would have picked him up..
