Unboxing, install and review of the Chihiros WRGB II Slim. Step-by-step installation for the side mount as well as the hanging version.
Overall I am quite impressed with the light, the unit is sleek and well built with app functionality and a wide range of mounting options across many different size tanks. It is a great option for mid-range aquascapes!

I have the 60cm light, can’t fault it. Great light rendition and control via the app. Thorough review, nice scape and interested to see what comes next

Great video mate :) I have yet to use the hanging kit for the slim version, it looks very nice and sleek in your setup! Cant wait to see what tank you choose for the upgrade :)

Cheers mate ! Agree that the light looks great hanging 😊 I’m still not entirely sure what the next upgrade will be.. and suggestions ?? I’ve got a 90p and a 60p already.

@@scaping.architect i would like too see you scape a “bookshelf” type tank, i really enjoy the long short tanks. The ADA ones are very hard too find here.

I have the slim 120, after a power cut the light is not working the auto programmed mode, it wont turn off or turn on again as expected, i also have a wrgb 2 and it works fine, how do i fix it?

Anyone else getting a flickering effect using the automated sunrise mode? I have a 60cm one of these, great light otherwise, but the transition during sunrise mode gives a flickering effect, not a smooth transition. Firmware updated to version 22.

If you have the budget go for normal WRGB2. It will give you more flexibility to grow whatever plants you want 🙌

Depends on the plant species, but generally yes. If you want super red plants I recommend wrgb 2

@@Siva-vservc bought a WRGB2 - 30cm size. I think it's much stronger & broader light but C2 should be pretty much enough and more compact size.

Yes , it will be fine. Choose medium category plants and place them where there’s more light

Red plant colors submerged are a result of low nitrates in the water column

They are different. WRGB II has stronger power output than the slim version

I was saving my pennies for the purpose of purchasing this light... I almost ordered the thing until I happened to stumble upon a video that explained in very few words; this light too can cause algae growth!! Wooaaaa! I think I'll buy a car instead!
