What I like most about Chucky's design in the original is that his appearance changes progressively, and he looks more and more human as the movie goes on. He has receding hair, wrinkles on his face... It's cool and creepy at the same time.

The original child’s play movie was awesome but I like the new one on my opinion. The original one was a fantastic mysterious horror film and the cast members were so cool and Alex Vincent played a really good and amazing actor. And Brad did a really cool job playing such a iconic killer doll. But I like the new remake version of child’s play because in some moments in the movie were you really see the connection between Andy and Chucky which is a scene I cried cuz you wouldn’t feel bad for Chucky in the original one. But the remake just makes me wish Andy cared more about Chucky and teaching him the right things to do instead of using him. Now it’s more like Andy should have treated Chucky like a good friend and of course they do sometimes but other than that it’s comes down to the fact that Chucky was driven mad by being forgotten. Which led him turning into a bad guy. Over all my favorite has to be the new version of child’s play but I would still love the original and I cannot wait for the tv show to come out!!! 👍🙂🔪

Great video as always! However, there is one element that I disagree with you on. The story. In the original, there was that whole mystery element in the 1st act as to whether or not it really was the doll committing the murders or if it was Andy. However, the very first scene in the movie flat out reveals to the viewer that Charles Lee Ray used magic to transfer his soul into the doll. That, I feel, is a serious flaw. One that pretty much kills any sense of suspense or mystery they were initially aiming for as now, there's no question in the viewer's mind as to whether or not Chucky's really alive. They should have just cut that scene from the film altogether or have it be a flashback later on once Chucky has already been revealed.

I despise chucky's redesign in the remake, yes the origanal is ten times better for example the shots are amazing the writing is great and the chucky animatronic was revaloutinonly however the remake isn't horrible I like how it tried to be it's own movie and not just be the exact same movie like the nightmare on elm street remake. My biggest problem with the remake is that they made chucky kinda sympathetic which I don't like because you're supposed to be scared of chucky not to feel bad for him.

The child’s play remake just reminds me of “toy story gone bad” I honestly hated the remake because I really am protective of my horror movies. It wasn’t really scary, but I do love the acting. But I must go for the original.
