Children of the Watch (The Mandalorian: Season 2)

In Chapter 11 of The Mandalorian, Bo-Katan reveals to Mando that not all Mandalorians are like him -- that he was raised by a cult of religious zealots who broke from Mandalorian society in an effort to restore the old Way of the Mandalore. These "zealots," known as the Children of the Watch, raised Mando to be a Mandalorian unlike most others. In this video, I analyze the content of this episode, focusing on the theme of childhood, with references to Plato's Allegory of the Cave and The Little Prince. We have a lot to learn in life as we grow and collect new experiences on the path to growing up, but even the wisest and most experienced adults have a lot to learn from children.

This was great! I like the incorporation of Plato’s Allegory of the Cave and The Little Prince. Oftentimes, I tend to forget how shows can have really meaningful and applicable messages if you just look for them.

Dang man, you really have a grip on the character development and themes that I haven't heard before. I can see the influence of your history knowledge on your analysis. In the first episodes Mando always told Grogu to spit it out and then later on he finally figured out that he actually needed to eat and started getting him food.
