Just a helpful tip. My hair is natural and I used to be in the gym heavy with my hair flat ironed. I used to wear my headscarf and I wouldn’t take it off until my head was completely dry. Sometimes I would blow dry around the scarf too

I used to have this problem. What helped me is blowdrying twice to ensure no moisture is in my hair. I blow dry with a comb attachment/or the paddle brush blow dryer, then i blow dry again with a paddle or round brush and I enure to get my roots. Also your sections should be thin. Thin enough to see through when flat ironing ❤ hope this helps

Sis, your hair looks like mine and it's very pretty. 😍 In NC, forget that same top on humidity as Florida. And your hair responded the way that it was supposed to respond by you doing it outside in that type of weather. Had you done it inside you would have had a different outcome. I'm not familiar with this product, but thank you for sharing it. I thought on it all about using something to straighten my hair and I did buy something last year and still haven't tried it. This came out pretty nice! I think my hair is similar to yours. I'm trying to think of new things to do with my hair this year and I am also struggling with single strand knots that I initially attributed to the hard water drying my hair out in my apartment but I don't know.

This product isn’t new, and I’ve used it before. It works pretty good.😊. It isn’t a perm. Your hair will revert when wet, but your texture may be softer and curls a bit looser. Just keep your hair moisturized. The 20 min starts AFTER for best results. I used heat protectant, and my Babybliss!

Your hair is beautiful but Id lkke to suggest that you keep it that way by ALWAYS using a deep conditioner Every time you do your hair and try some frizz control and the Heat Protectant that you used then immediately after flat ironing wrap your hair with a silk scarf and if youre going to bed leave scarf on and then put your night cap.

Hey there, 👋🏾 Thanks for asking. Since my hair is not naturally straight and curly when wet I had to Follow the instructions that says to blow dry and then style after applying the product. Same goes for when you use a relaxer (you would apply the relaxer to your head, wash it out, blow dry and style it). Or Same as if you had a powder drink like Crystal Light for example, sure you could drink the powder by itself but the Instructions say to pour the powder into water and stir with a spoon and mix before drinking for best results .☺️. It is just all about following the instructions on the packaging. Thanks for watching and hope this helps. 💖💁🏾‍♀️

@Jay_Lo

If you follow the directions completely and use the temperature of heat that the booklet tells you to use for your hair "type", you will have amazing results. I just finally tried this kit and my cottony textured hair is super straight but with body and it's soft and manageable. I tested it by immediately going for an hour walk in 80F summer heat, in an area with high humidity. There was practically no reversion. I even made sure to work up a bit of a light sweat and still, not much reversion at all .. Very slight. This product is a real game changer and I'm wondering if people are following the instructions when it comes to the level of heat you need. You need to use medium heat, not low for the blow drying step and the instructions say this very plainly in the booklet. Also, you are not supposed to use any heat protectant or any product that is not included in the system UNTIL you're done with the process. Adding heat protectant will ruin the process as the system already has heat protectant and more importantly, it has to change the pH level of your hair to open the cortex to let the ingredients in. The heat then locks it in. Low heat defeats the effectiveness of the system and is nowhere in the instructions... Anyway I'm glad it hasn't been discontinued because it SLAYED my hair.

I have researched both and consider it a cheaper version. I use Beautiful Textures (BT) regularly and have for years. I recently bought the Avlon system as I was thinking of switching to Avlon because it seems like a stronger and longer lasting version with similar ingredients (amino acids). But I don’t see enough long term users of Avlon; and decided I’ll probably just stick with BT as my hair does so well with it.
