Chilgoza is one of the most expensive dry fruit which is an organic product obtained from the cones of the Chilgoza tree (Pinus gerardiana) also known as the neoza or neja. Chilgoza is a pine native to the northwestern Himalayas in eastern Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northwest India. In India, it is found in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh state. It is known as Ree or Shangti in kinnauri dialect which is harvested in the month of September-October. It is a rich source of proteins and unsaturated fatty acids, it also contains Vitamin-A, Vitamin-C, and Vitamin-E along with iron, zinc, and magnesium.

Both are different, it is found in some specific part of the world, whereas Chir (Pine) tree can be found at lower himalayan areas. You can confirm the price of Chilgoza in online, it is very expensive dry fruit.

Believe me... This is so tasty...... Kinnaur is the place where.. We get dry fruits people are not even aware of...... Above all... People of kinnaur.... You can't find people like them... so pure hearted..... So simple... So innocent ... It's truly a heaven and people are like angels......

As a child, when the lights went out in our house, my father used to bring some wood from this tree with him after hunting. So for that, there was a special niche in our mud house made of mud. It burned all night. Its fragrance was very enchanting.

کیا آپ کو پتا ہے۔ چلغوزے پاکستان کے مختلف علاقوں میں ہوتے ہیں جیسے چلاس, گلگت دیامیر, چترال , کوہستان چترال اور وزیرستان۔ اس کا سب سے بڑا جنگل پاکستان کے علاقے وانا وزیرستان میں ہے۔ کوالٹی کے لحاظ سے وزیرستان کا چلغوزہ پوری دنیا میں مشہور ہے۔ وزیرستانی چلغوزے اپنے خاص ذاٸقے اور ساٸز کی وجہ سے بہت زیادہ پسند کٸے جاتے ہیں۔ اور وانا کے چلغوزے کی قیمت باقی چلغوزوں سے تقریباً دگنی ہوتی ہے۔ مارکیٹ میں بنوں چلغوزے کے نام سے مشہور ہے۔ یہ اسلٸے کہ پہلے وقتوں میں وزیرستان کے لوگوں کی رساٸی صرف بنوں منڈی تک تھی اور ادھر اپنا مال بیچھتے تھے اور بنوں کے تاجر آگے پوری دنیا میں بنوں کے نام سے سپلاٸی کرتے تھے۔ اب وانا کے لوگ ایک فلاحی تنظیم واوا کی مدد سے خود پوری دنیا میں سپلاٸی کرتے ہیں۔ بنوں منڈی میں اب وزیرستان کا چلغوزہ نہیں جاتا اور بنوں کے تاجر اب ہر سال چترال چلاس کوہستان اور دیر جاتے ہیں وہاں سے چلغوزہ لیتے ہیں بنوں منڈی لاتے ہیں اور پھر وہاں سے سپلاٸی کرتے ہیں۔

It should be possible to grow the trees artificially as well. Canada has a lot of success in growing conifers sustainably for their pulp and paper industry. The same principles could be applied here for the pine trees to make it a sustainable source of income in the long term
