Thank you, Walter (and Kim!!) !!! I’m going to make this when I see my kids in a few weeks!! It’s very similar to what I normally make. I had never thought about turmeric so I’m super excited to taste it with turmeric.!!

That looks incredible as usual, Walter. Glad to see you are in the no-bean camp as a good Texan. I will tell you one secret I have stumbled upon: I discovered that the heat from serrano peppers, chili powder, and dried chipotles all hit you at a slightly different time ( and in that order). So using all three doesn't make something hotter - if you get it right it transforms one bite into three distinct flavors in your mouth one after the other. If that shows up in a video I want credit for it! DB

Good hearty but healthy dish to warm yourself with!❤❤ Was surprised though the Turkey juice was discarded after browning meat. Could it have been saved as part if the deglazing liquid? Still an incredible recipe, a definite Winter warmer!🥰🥰👏🏽👏🏽

You could definitely save that juice to deglaze with, if you didn't want to use the beer or other more flavorful liquid! Thanks so much for watching, and for your input!
