You can't swallow a jalapeno / habenero / scotch bonnet / jolokia / reaper in one. He had to chew for a few seconds but he was getting them down fast. Risked choking or getting it stuck in his throat. Still lost though! XD Good game, good game!

I imagine George was in an incredible amount of pain afterwards. You have to thoroughly chew the chili or else your stomach will pay a hefty price.

Runner up was just chewing it for 1-2 seconds and forcing the swallow. Good tactic, a little unsportsmanlike but I was sure it was gonna win him the match. Guess not! Tolerance + willpower > Technique! XD

The problem with not chewing them enough is that they will take forever to break up inside the gut meaning longer burning 🔥 😂 it's definitely not a tactic I would recommend

Bend your tongue backwards in your mouth and hold it for 10 sec after every pepper😂😂😂 will take the intensity down a lot! Great video guys

Clifton Chilli Club I've done Basingstoke cheese and chilli Festival 3 years in a row now, been to carolina reaper land twice and one year everyone gave up at naga so was a easy day for me! I also won £1000 cash eating 12 random picked chillies ending with a reaper on a itv show GO FOR IT last year but never got aired, I was gonna hang up my chilli boots but your competitions look great so I'll keep them on for another year 😂

Lol +Conrad North yep we know about the Cheese & Chilli festival ones, they use '3 2 1 Yum! Yum!' as there start to each round, makes us chuckle. Lol Yep please look at the map, probably Reading is the closet one we host nearest Basingstoke. As you'll see we do film and produce vids of all our comps, shame others don't do this as there are so many comps out there, our most vid has over 20 mill views so its proof people love these vids and Sid who's one a few of ours is like a mini celeb on KZfaq as so many people comment and mention her.👍😉

Clifton Chilli Club yeah to be honest the Basingstoke one is a little lame but I only go out of pride of not being beaten 😂, I've watched a few of sid and I'm sure she was at this year's Basingstoke one sitting on a bench quietly watching, I thought I saw her after I finished the competition, I'm quite interested in the grillstock one but looking at your site as we speak, I don't mind travelling, you're definitely on my radar for next year!!

Yep we're a pretty lively comp and try our best,the lady you prob seen was another lady who goes by the name of 'Chilli Queen' she has attended a few of the Cheese and Chilli festivals.yep Grillstock is one of our biggest comps with normally a raucous crowd of 8,000+ peole in the crowd. You'll have to keep tracks as this is normally an online registration for this comp as it's extremely popula, last year we had over 350 applicants! In some of the vids +Conrad North you'll see some crowd shots and its truely immense! We hope to see you there and please enjoy more of our vids, Sub n' Share 🔥🍻👍😉

Very rare issues actually (rectal bleeding, but not life threatening). Peppers are healthy, although terrifyingly hot,

I love your videos man! Do you think you could maybe put a thumbnail pic of the pepper, its scoville and country of origin in a little informational square in the corner of the screen during each pepper? I think they're beautiful to look at but sometimes I can't really see what they look like, and you guys get a lot of unusual peppers. Just a friendly suggestion.

@@CliftonChilliClub Hey man, yeah it's probably kind of a pain in the ass, and I don't know anything about editing videos, but since peppers can be so gorgeous to look at (I think), it would be cool to see a photo of one up close/cut in half and some info about how they taste or if they're oily or floral or sweet or bitter or where they're from or whatever you guys think is interesting to include. Anyways, thanks for responding and thanks even more for the awesome vids!

Hi +Kate_Lawn yep there are, however they may be run a different ways etc. If you look on our website (link included in video description) we have a World Chilli events map where we have placed icons around the world showing the ones we have been told/informed about. Thanks claire for your feedback and very interesting too. It's very hard when we edit as sometimes we want to leave loads in however experience has showed us that we potentially lose interest if they are long videos. We have toyed with the fact of making two vids ie one short and one much longer however as we do this as a hobby etc it's all about finding the time between our normal day jobs and editing vids etc. Like most KZfaqrs where in no way trained in filming, editing etc we're learning all the time and it's great to get some feedback, again thank you and we will take it on board.👍😊
