wow..this is one that NEVER gets played anymore..and rarely will other people (USA) remember it..i DO remember this..i am 38..i was there..for the arrival of the EIGHTIES!! what great times growing up to songs like this..'81 '82, '83...those were great years for music ;-)..thanks! This is VERY hard to find these days..

Wishing to go back to this simpler better time

I was introduced to Chiliwack when I was working for Armed Forces Radio back in 1982. Of all the bands I met and played this band has been my favorite. Thank you so much for replaying their work. "I Believe" should have won a Grammy. Great band from a great land.

I was 11 years old...just a little girl living in Vancouver, listening to some crappy little AM radio in my bedroom. The station was probably 14 CFUN, or maybe LG '73 (they were rival top 40 stations) I've got tears in my eyes. Where has the time gone? Thanks soooooo much! I love this song. :)

My LONG lost search for this song has finally ended. I've had it stuck in my head ever since it hit the airwaves in the U.S. back in 1981 but could never find out the band that performed it until now! Great memories of 1981 & 6th Grade. One of my favorite songs of all time.

Youre sitting in a duck blind and its 5:37 am. Its dark but not raining. So you get out the crank up emergency radio. Tune it and Chilliwack is playing...pure delight.

Love it. I distinctly remember hearing this for the first time. Working on my car in the driveway, senior year in high school. It was Fall going into Winter. I had dragged my big Fisher stereo down into the garage to replace my transistor radio there. I wanted to hear some quality sounds while I worked on my car and help me not to notice how cold it was getting outside. This song came on the radio and the beat and baseline and great hook just hooked me! Great memories. I'm starting to smell those fall leaves again.

Hadn't heard this in 25 years. Happened to be listening to the radio one day(something I hardly EVER do)and this came on as a 80's flashback. I had completely forgotten it to that point. I was 12 when this song came out and from the first time I head it I was hooked. The years went by and I had forgotten about it. A couple of weeks ago on the 80s satellite channel they featured a lost track of the 80s. And guess what, this was it. It was so great to hear it after all these years and I am still hooked.

This song came on the radio, while i was in the car with my dad. I sang every word. My dad couldn't comprehend that i knew this song.

Remember listening to this as I drove back and forth to University of Iowa night classes. Would crank up radio in my beater and unwind from brain drain. Great memories!

Great Band ,Great Label..Growing up in North Vancouver ,sends me back to Grade 11,oh the teenage years,they were something..So much "Awesome Music" out of the WestCoast at that time..Mushroom Records was a great Label for Westcoast Talent,Gerry Doucette as well besides the mentioned above...Favourite songs from Chilliwack,"Fly at Night-1977","Something Better-1976","Lonesome Mary-1971"actually too many to list..If memory serves me justice,they appeared on Dick Clark's American Bandstand twice..If they ever discover Time Travel,you know where I'm goin'..Thanks Mike..

I recall hearing this song through an earplug connected to my transistor radio while riding on a Greyhound bus on US 40 in either Delaware or Northeastern Maryland. I also recall hearing "Heart Like A Wheel" by the Steve Miller Band at the same time. And this may have been the weekend that I heard on the radio that Natalie Wood had died.
