I’m sorry if this comes across weird or creepy, but I recognized a lot of places you frequented in your vlogs and thrifting videos AND SCREAMED because you live in the area I grew up. Your videos remind me of home for obvious reasons, but it’s not just the location of where you film, but the feelings of coziness and warmth that exude, reminding me of simpler times. This means a lot to me because I’m all the way across the country nowadays. There’s a special place in my heart for that corner of the world - miss my hometown. 🌲🌲🌲

Its weird but I am Scottish and pumpkins and squashes are something we never saw until the 80's. My childhood Halloweens were redolent of turnip lanterns the same as most of the other Celtic peoples. Our old traditional Samhain has become lost and Americanised, which is ok because Pumpkins look nice, I wouldnt know one if I came across it in food though and our celebrations were much more around apple dooking and trying to eat sticky things (usually sugary things) tied to a line suspended overhead while blindfolded. We didnt do much trick or treating either as that was something that came about on the 5th of November in rememberance of Guy Fawkes gunpowder plot and we used to burn an effigy of Guy on the 5th(bonfire night...which does actually come from Bone Fire). The going round doors asking for stuff wasnt trick or treating as you call it but asking for a "penny for the guy" and the kids dressed up in costumes and it was called "Guising" which probably came from disguise but was confused with Guy Fawkes name as in Guyzing. So we didnt do tricks or ask for treats thats a total American thing which has nothing to do with either Samhain or Guy Fawkes. We carried the Guy Effigy from door to door and if people thought we had made a good enough effort we were rewarded with sweets or money (change). Its very romanticised in American eyes but theyre two very different things here. I suppose the bonfires were originally part of the Samhain tradition but the church tried its utmost to keep us from our pagan roots and thats probably why they started the firework and bonfire celebration of the act of treason perpetrated by Fawkes because in the eyes of the church its better to celebrate a traitor than all that devilry that our people are so linked with.

A pumpkin patch then a bookstore then a spooky movie night? Throw in some knitting, and you just had my perfect day! LOL Now I'm in the mood to go to the local apple orchard to get apple cider slushies and fried apple pies. Yum! :)

So soothing , calming and inspiring. I usually watch Korean videos for inspiration , of their daily vlogs but yours is the first American vlog that I found. You also have a very soothing calming voice which helps. And also the fact that you have calming music in between, and not just talk at a high pitch is very very appreciated. Loveddd this video! The simplicity and warm coziness is pure comforting. Also, regarding getting a new phone, iPhones in particular, I say sure why the heck not! I just recently got the 13 in Sierra Blue and the cinematic style is really fun to use, I'm a film major so I feel like I kind of know what I am talk about. However, I say that even just regular video mode is top quality because sometimes the blurring on cinematic can be wonky... I normally shot with my physical Canon camera, but when taking unexpected walks having a phone with nice camera quality is superrrr convenient :)
