That pale silky tank with the lace inset looks GORGEOUS! It makes me think of moon-goddess vibes! Also, yes, you can steam silk. I wash (most) of my silk in mesh bags on cold, hand-wash cycle, with baby-soap in the washer, hang dry, and steam to release wrinkles. I too do not believe in dry cleaning!

fyi: dolphins are considered good omens by surfers because sharks are terrified of them and will avoid dolphin pods. growing up surfing and swimming in the ocean, I always knew it was a good sign to see dolphins nearby because it meant there were no sharks! i know you don't like them, but they are bearers of good luck!

for the short sleeve sweater (which i'm like the same way w that), to put some use to it, I put it over like a patterned button-up or a dress! side note, your hair looks so pretty in this video. ps, I binge your vids ALL THE TIME. it brings me in the fall mood and having a relatable witch, and style icon is truly the best thing ever. :)

You can wash silk, I usually hand wash for the very delicate silk but blouses like yours are find in the wash, on cold. Then just let air dry. Yes you can steam and iron them. I never dry clean my silk items and most wools. I love the lilac blouse you found!

I wouldn't steam silk personally but there may be ways of doing it? but dry clean only clothes can be washed by putting them in a bowl of water with a tiny bit if washing powder/liquid and swishing v gently. (I used to sell antiques and my old boss taught me that one saved many a coat.)

Autumn mode here too. Nice finds. You can wash silk in the washing machine (hand wash/delicate program), air dry and then iron it whith the iron in the minimum. I do it all the time.

I am a witch as well honey. Fall has always been my favorite season and just thrifted some fall items. Found some things in purple because that is my favorite color. I have a amethyst crystal ball that is so lovely and my altar is all in purple right now for fall. I call my thrifting a witch hunt. This makes me crave fall soooo bad - while I melt over here in 120 degree weather 🥵 saaaame about the ocean! Any time I have nightmares it is me swimming in the ocean and looking down and there are all kinds of big tubes under the water ... Soooo scary

I think you could actually use a cool iron on your lavender silky top I have done the same thing and the cool iron always seems to do the trick. Beautiful video. XOXO

If you hang clothes in your bathroom while you shower, the steam will allow wrinkle to release their hold on your clothes give them a good snap and that will help to when you finish.

You can steam iron that silk blouse. Silk is pretty durable.

I think the fear you're referring to is thalassophobia. Another related one is kenophobia, which I do have. Just the other month, while playing VR at a friend's house and I went inside a virtual room that was in outer space, I completely freaked out and became incredibly anxious, so yeah I can kinda relate.

As an alternative to ‘tank top’, you could use ‘camisole’, at least for the black lacy one :) Also, I never used to be afraid of the ocean until I played Subnautica. Now it freaks me out to swim in deep water where I can’t see anything below me!

For the silk shirt, if you have an iron, you have a steamer. You gotta be real careful and it's a little tedious, but the steaming part of iron can work. Good luck!

You can steam silk on a low setting. You also can use an iron with a steam setting on silk. Just start off on low low and in the inside to see how your fabric reacts but you should be fine :)

Oceans are my biggest irrational fear.. like I’m scared of getting attacked by a shark… but when do I ever swim in the ocean to have that happen!?😅 I laughed out loud doing my cardio watching the part about the dolphins 🐬

I put my silk in the dryer because when I let it air dry I found it would get really stiff. I got my Thrifted so it was probably already shrunk.

You can call the first top a camisole and the second top is not really a tank. So you're safe, neither one is tank. The silver is also a camisole.

I wouldn't steam silk. I wash my silk items in cold tap water using the Laundress delicates soap, gently squeeze dry (don't wring) and lay it flat on a towel to dry. Works every time.
