I am Indian, I have travelled to over 20 countries on 3 continents. I must say China has been my favourite and felt most comfortable, somehow it feels safe. Nice and helpful people, great cities and clean villages I must say they are on the right track. I will take my parents next time to China!

A lot of you are talking about "filters". You are probably referring to an essential and quite complicated part of video post-production called Color Correction and Color Grading. It is not as simple as just putting a "filter" on a video. Sure, many people skip these steps and just upload a video straight out of camera, but me nor other professionals just leave videos as they are. For me, Color Grading is a way of artistic expression, every single creator can develop their unique look and colors of their videos that they like. But of course, everybody has a different style, every person likes it a bit different. For me, I always liked the colors and the tone of my videos to have a cinematic movie look. That's why I always go for more muted tones and colors, because that's just the way I like it as an artist. It has nothing to do with me trying to portray China as "depressing" or anything. It doesn't have any special meaning, it is just a way I like my videos to look, no matter the country. 这是好莱坞电影色调，略偏橙青色，虽然会显得不通透，但是更有胶片感。包括视频的画幅也是裁切成电影比例的，可见博主很喜欢这种电影风格。很多KZfaqr会做成好几个视频的内容，他居然一口气都讲完了，还蛮有个性的，果断关注起来。

views considering the tone of the images in this documentary “depressing” may have mixed it up with the so called "BBC filters" which is "depressing and biased" not just because of the image but mostly the perspectives it attempted to imbue. To me, I like it. just as you said, it brings out a sensation of watching it on a big screen

If you visit, you'll find it vastly different from what Western mainstream media portrays. Its development surpasses any European country, and the quality of public infrastructure here offers a level of comfort and convenience you have never experienced before. This is really a very underated channel. The professionalism that the vlogger shows in his video is excellent and unbelievably fantastic. He's like an extremely professional documentary video director/maker. The footages, colour, edit, perfect utilization of slow motions, Chinese-western-style music, etc., everything that's shown in his video is just perfect and uncomparable. One reason might be that the US invests a significant amount of money each year in suppressing China not only in military and commercial business but also in public opinion guiding. Videos that smear and belittle China can easily gain high viewership, while those showing the real China often have their recommendation weight reduced by many US platforms. Several KZfaqrs who live in China and frequently upload videos have already noticed this, if you use a negative title for a China-related video, you can have much more exposure than a positive one. Many American platforms are not impartial in ranking the order of the China-related content. Before 2010, these platforms were actively guiding public opinion in a malicious direction in mainland China (all negative news and rumors about China would be posted with priority while its positive aspects would be intentionally hidden and difficult to find), and then China kicked them out from their market. Meanwhile, TikTok did nothing wrong, but it was banned in the US because of its popularity, as the U.S. know that this could affect its ability to control the direction of public opinion.
