(I think even China tried to defend their position saying that the West had a chance to industrialize with the use of coal etc, and so they wanted a chance to industrialize, or something to that effect) Now that they are doing something and being really good at it, the response: "Oh common!" So wait. Was the hope that you could set (in your mind) and impossible goal that you thought only you could reach, hoping they would fail or be far behind you? So, tomorrow you'll come with: "Everyone needs to do a backflip because if we don't the world will end (while probably practicing to do this backflip for years now and hoping you will be the go to place as far as investments goes into learning to backflip) Then China will come again and beat you in doing backflips and you'll fear you'll be "too reliant" on learning backflips from them, so then you'll move the goal post again 🤣

So can America do what that Italian monk dd....stole the silk worms? But there is no secret in making solar panels, wind turbines and batteries, so there is nothing t steal. Can America steal China's penchant for hard work, and the ability to look further into the future? That I don't know. Imagine the cool tech we could have if we weren't busy simping for oil companies and living in the past. People are still talking about opening new coal mines, in 2024. 🤣

Think about it: A country that invests so heavily in Green Technology, education, and infrastructure (all of which are very fragile in the case of war and can be destroyed in a minute), is criticized (without ANY substantial evidence) constantly as if it is a threat to World Peace. But another country that invests a much greater proportion of its GDP into military spending, lets its own infrastructure rot (as if it doesn't matter), and does not even care about the health of its own people (as if it doesn't matter) is considered the protector of the Free World. This is when you should wake up to the level of BS you are exposed to.

Striving towards green energy rapidly is most welcome irrespective of which country is going for it. For sustainable and better development of the world please don't spread your wrong narrative.
