This is an excellent question and worth elaborating on. CHINA'S TECHNOCRATS China does not have politicians in our sense. They have leaders who are technocrats and experts. They are ALL committed to developing the country and serving the people. Why? Because the only way they stay in power is if the people are satisfied with their work. You will see administrators at all levels get the "ax" (literally go to prison) if they are corrupt. They go if they underperform and China has a system of citizen feedback, and conflict resolution and remediation to address these issues. They also have a very strong court system that seems to be biased toward the citizen. Unlike the U.S., China works hard to weed out corruption at all levels. We reward government corruption. China is an ancient Technocracy. "Imperial China was famous for its civil service examination system, which had its beginnings in the Sui dynasty (581-618 CE) but was fully developed during …" Individuals advanced through the government ranks based on expertise and performance. This holds true today. It is incredibly competitive and you move up the career ladder from the local level upwards. Having local experience is important because at this level you are most connected to the needs of the people. They are meticulously evaluated all the way (more rigorous than our employee evaluations). All are professionals in different fields with most holding Master and PhD degrees, many STEM fields, some published, and known for their accomplishments when they reach the top. I have met some of these people in the Chinese healthcare leadership and it's hard to find this kind of talent in the U.S. We might place a Dr. as Administrator, but they are usually politically connected and don't have the right mix of education, experience, program planning and development, administrative experience to do a good job and are influenced by lobbyists. So in the U.S. most of the politicians are not qualified for the work ahead of them, lack critical thinking skills, and cater to interest groups and donors. Most of the Agency Administrators don't have the education and experience to do their jobs effectively and are politically influenced. It IS NOT mathematically possible for our leadership to compete with Chinese expertise. Remember they developed this nearly 1,500 years ago. It is part of the structure of their 5,000 year old contiguous Civilization State and a system to be proud of.

It already is. BRICS and growing member nations has begun the dedollarization process and is developing a gold backed currency. China has also recently released their own digital currency. Saudi Arabia has recently removed their gold reserves from the U.S. The West is also being kicked out of resource rich countries in favour of partnerships with Russia and China.
