Chinese companies boost Ethiopian manufacturing industry

Ethiopia is a traditional agricultural country, but in recent years it has made tremendous effort to attract foreign investors to boost its manufacturing sector. One of the biggest of these is China's Huajian Group. CCTV's Wu Lei visited the company in the Ethiopia's Eastern Industry Zone

China comes in to Africa to help build infrastructure, help build business, help build medical center, school, help educate, and help African to be prosperous on their own. Africa has huge potential and China know they can pay it back. The loan Africa takes is a long term investment and long term partnership, and by the time China finish their goal in Africa as promise. China will leave Africa and let African run its own country with new and current technology. As stated by President XI, Africa is for African. We will not get involve in your political and social affair. We will help build your country at your own term, we will build a plan for animal and forestry conservation, we will respect your people and your country and we will protect your country from any threat if needed. ethiopia need to build more commercial train to export food and manufacture products. It's a shame that countries like Angola, Nigeria import most of their expensive food from Europe, when their soil are fertile. Africa is mismanaged, lands are abandoned by the youth who seek easy life in the city, when they go hungry, they robe, revolt and take arm against their government while they could strike fortune as intelligent farmers. Food is getting expensive in Africa and it need to move around through highway, railway, not rotten in long boat trips or expensive airplane travels

The title is mis-leading- the chinese are simple out-sourcing the production of goods outside of china due to rising labour cost in china. What is needed in afrika is for afrikans to own their own businesses to manufacture goods that can be exported to other afrikan countries.

They already doing that. Can you see the infrastructure they are building in laos and myanmar? As for cambodia, they are investing tons of casino there to provide jobs for locals. And cambodia is one of the fastest growig economy already.
