If the heater is installed correctly it should shut off when it reaches the temperature it’s set at. It will turn on as the temperature drops below the setting. Just like a home furnace. Good luck my go to cold food is Sushi and hot food is a good Steak.

Fire blankets are handy things to have around. They are reusable and don't make a huge mess of things.

Just a tip for your cutting board. Place a damp, wrung out, paper towel under that board. Happy cooking

Omg we got that same exact projector for both my kids and they love it! We bring one when we go to hotels so the don’t have to fight over the tv lol I’m sure it’ll come camping with us this summer somehow

As its already been confirmed all heaters have a thermostat set the heater to the desired temp and then leave to do its job. The heater will turn itself off when it reaches the set temperature and will turn on when the temperature has dropped. I would do the unheard of and read the manual surprisingly enough you find some helpful information. Unless the thing was purchased and supplied from china than im afraid you will most definitely be playing a guessing game.😊 Good luck and great content as usual.

I always install a tent stove and use firewood instead of propane or diesel. You can easily go to -65F (I have done that in n. Maine) with wood and thick insulation. Only drawback is parking in a residential area and burning wood. There are branches everywhere and I would go the whole winter when I had my own land on 6.5 cords for six months for an 8'x21' travel trailer and WAY less for a smaller trailer. Every time I see people struggle with diesel I re-design my small stove ideas. Thing is you have to like stoking a stove. I do. It is a quality of life issue with me. I like it. I will get up at two am and stoke my stove and love the warmth. no hassles with exhaust or leaky fuel. everything is manual. I use the vaseline and cotton ball routine for a regualar lighter.

I’m thinking that the shutting off/turning on has to do with the proximity of the thermostat to the output of the hot air. The propane heaters just keep on running, where the diesel will click off after its hits the temp you set, then will click back on when it begins to drop back down. If you’re able to move the thermostat or run the output hose further away, you might get it a little more consistent heat.

Chicken fettuccine with freshly grated parm all over the top. Love pastas! Creamcheese pie or cake, whatever everyone calls them. But i also love strawberry shortcake. With HOMEMADE shortcake, not that spongy stuff lol. And yes of course i have made both lol!

You don’t need to worry about the diesel heater and you don’t need to have a window open either, they are safe heaters, every long haul truck driver heats their truck with one of them.

The heater probably has a thermostat so when the temperature reaches that temperature it’s going to shut off. You might turn it down some. Lower settings it might run all night.

Had long day at work but finally able to watch your new video well worth it Becca thanks also by the way diesel fuel will slush up in cold cold weather so keeping outside with out insulation will make it hard to feed the heater

I think the disel heater has a thermostat inside of it and is supposed to turn on and off might be something to check where you bought it.

I had a heater that you flipped upside down then flipped back again then started a fire to stay warm kind of like a big candle. I tried it once had a big fire and kicked it off the bed onto a parking lot to let it burn out with just a little fuel inside then threw it away.

You may have it set up in the mode to act like a thermostat. That heater will bake you out of that little camper on high setting.

Please please mount the co detector close to the floor. Co is heavier than air. That is why Campers Co detector is always at floor level

Sup becca, lila and skye, once you get a heater your comfortable with you won't have to worry as much, camping doung a dump and go soup recipe is great, frozen spinach is the mose economic frozen food, i eas all in, but then bought oven ready noodles😭😭😭, gross scam, use regular please, even if a lasagna can use regular noodkes unboiled, did forever before oven ready, im so sorry its a passion of mine😢, tell lila i live smothies and im not healthy, actually dying but.. and hot chocolate fir dessert, well then be beer later🎉, can see fear about heaters, make sure have appropriate fire extinguishers! And current! Will take some load off mind, and should have enough anyway, skye looks great, enjoyed tine my friend, except oven ready noodles 😲, what noodle isnt lol. Sry, tyvm tc 🎣
