In this video we go and make an attempt to take out the Kymron ZX22 Chinese Excavator to use on a job site which we had to demo out. The plan was to dig out the walk pathways with it and utilize our mini skids to haul away the dirt while the excavator left clean and graded paths. Well to the best of my abilities that is.
However, if you remember on the previous video we had a short that kept blowing the top fuse and while we did have it run once, it did it again and this time for good.
The machine wouldn't allow me to put in another fuse without blowing it. So we had to hire help of diesel mechanics and at the end one of them who knew how to chase the wiring, was the one was able to help me find it and fix it.
The problem ended up being a rubbed through wire that lead to a small computer in the back of the machine. The problem was there was a right angle piece of support that must be just close enough to strip the wire bare with the vibration of a running machine. he pulled the plug and fixed it along with the wire.
To the surprise we also ended up finding that we had a cracked diesel tank and while it is not a permanent fix, We were able to patch it and got it to run again.
