As a Chinese, I love Indian food. Unlike Chinese and other cuisine, Indian food relys more on their spices and herbs to bring out the flavour of food which compared to many dishes that uses the meat (beef, pork, seafood) as the central flavour. Which is why, Indian imo has one of the best vegetarian food because their cooking style does not rely on the taste of meat to make food taste good.

In india we can get indo-chinese fusion foods Basically from Singapore restaurants
@raghavantheerthagiri7888
@raghavantheerthagiri7888 2 жыл бұрын
Nope. Singapore had nothing to do with it. Indian Chinese cuisine was developed by Chinese immigrants in Calcutta (now Kolkata) before independence. It is quite different from Singaporean cuisine catering to uniquely Indian tastes. It also has a vegetarian variants using cauliflower, paneer (cottage cheese) to cater to the vegetarians among Indians

They need to try making indo-chinese food together as well, its massive here in India and it gets marketed as Chinese but it's actually indo-chinese. Things like chilli potato, gobi manchurian, chilli chicken etc.

As an Indian I've never heard of this South Indian dish or seen it. I'm from the east coast of India - Odisha. We have Chuda. Which is literally no cook. Lemons, ghee, jaggery, coconut grated. Wash the poha (flattened rice) and mix it all when soft and enjoy.
@taejimkookies
@taejimkookies 2 жыл бұрын
that's sad, but you should have Dosa atleast once- thats what i had for breakfast today. a staple
@dOVERanalyst
@dOVERanalyst 2 жыл бұрын
@@taejimkookies Oh, it's not sad at all. It's delicious. There are multiple "paaga" as we call it to eat Chuda. What I shared was one. There's milk + ripe banana smash + sugar/jaggery too. There are several mixes. It's insanely healthy. And nutritious. *And delicious.* (The same Poha is cooked in Western India). We also don't soak it & there's another dish : Chuda Bhaja It's traditionally toasted on hot sand. Mixed with mixture. 1 way. Another way is toasting it (or air frying it) and adding long sauted onions + green chillies. And pepper. *Delicious* And we love Dosa too. We are from Southern Odisha. My gran used to make the most authentic Upma & I do too. We like Idli, dosa, upma and Wada is called Bara ethnically in Odisha. Which is as much a local favorite as our evening snack aloo chop. Odia traditional dosa is thicker and is called CHAKULI. Chakuli with mutton is a classic. We love paper dosa as well. I make really thin ones. And we have dosa frequently. We recently tried chhetinad Idli & some curry with idli options. Bawnda chutney is also a classic.
