Күн бұрынThe highest-ranking Chinese leader to visit New Zealand in seven years is being officially welcomed in Wellington.
Crowds were gathering in welcome before Premier Li Qiang arrived in New Zealand on Thursday morning.
He will receive an official welcome at Government House before meeting Prime Minister Christopher Luxon this afternoon.
His visit comes as regional security concerns begin to overshadow the lucrative trade ties which had until recently dominated the NZ-China relationship.

I believe that no country can be used by another country to move forward for common good. Canada is very much important to both countries to work together for good.

Very pleasing to see diplomatic level of discussion. 5 eyes has crippled our sovereign independence standing. BRICS nations are the future, a choice in need.
