Game dev here. That's not how it works. Like, not even close to the point where it makes no sense. Not saying I believe Khu. He gets leaks from a Chinese forum and those leaks slowed down. Because he loves attention and was afraid of publish pressure, he chose to make stuff up in order to save face. Other info he leaked that didn't come to light were changed during development, as things do.

Because I've also dabbled in game development and I can't imagine that they've been able to program a form/stat-change mechanic that activates in specific weather for years in multiple games, including Legends Arceus which doesn't even have in-battle weather, only to encounter a bug when developing SV that keeps them from implementing that same mechanic. As for Khu's information, I was under the impression that his information is 2nd hand from the Chinese localization of the games, but if as you said his information is from forums it's most likely 3rd hand but that doesn't really change much in this case since the information still most likely comes from localization and not people directly involved in development at Game Freak, so a feature would've had to make it to a point where they were sure it would've been implemented in the first place for the localizers to even get wind of it, potentially even to the point where there'd be leftovers of it in the code, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Basically he's talking about stuff his alleged source shouldn't even have access to.

@@callmesilver2683 The form-change was something TTar suggested, true, but if a form-change was possible why not a stat-change? Not to mention that Cherrims form-change also changes its base stats while Castform at least changes types, not stats but still something somewhat adjacent.

The mini mega-evos were scrapped for Protosynthesis and Quark Drive (i.e., Booster Energy enablers), so you still have to deal with boosted Flutter Mane in a way. In fact, it's probably worse how it is now, since Protosynthesis being active with max EVs makes either its Speed equal base _227_ (a 92 point increase) or its Sp. Atk equal base 190 (a 55 point increase). The old way could have just given it, say, base 150 across its Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed in the sun, making it somewhat more manageable.

I think what Khu might have been trying to convey (assuming this isn’t made up) is that the current Paradox abilities didn’t initially exist, but because the mechanic probably conflicted with Terastal and messed up their overall stats we instead got the abilities and held item as we know today.

Khu’s credibility is completely garbage and if you believe him, you’re just as desperate as anyone else who believes Khu or any “leak” or rumor on the internet. Literally go do anything else other than scour the internet for a drop of anything that you play make believe to think anything is info for PLZA.

I'm realizing more and more, it's people like you that screw over things. Hyping up things and making 'theorizing' about what is said... making what is said a lie. Or making these grand ideas for a game, then the game being complete crap compared to ideas and hopes for what it ends up as. This whole thing is just describing how UBs had Beast Boost, paradoxes were also going to have that, but it ends up being an item. Kinda weird how that ties into other recent vids you made, and specifically what I comment on them. I said in your last one that UBs are paradoxes
