@@microdesigns2000 No, not there either. I had to look closer to see if it had one or not and it does not have anykind of relief valve. The gear end has a hole which is used to help tighten it.

How long does it take to cook the popcorn before releasing the pressure? 5 min? 10 min?
@charlibravo371 Жыл бұрын
Around 8 minutes for the first batch, because the vessel is very thick and very cold. After this, it takes 3-5 minutes depending on the grain or rice variety.

"Popcorn" for us is a special kind of corn. If you get it hot in the right way it will pop. It has a hard skin, and pressure builds up inside the individual kernel. I think this can be almost any kind of grain, It's getting the whole mass hot and plastic, then releasing the pressure suddenly so it turns into foam. I think I've seen a video where the guy had popped rice, various kinds of corn, and even some beans! We used to have Puffed Wheat and Puffed Rice cereal, in the ads it said "Shot From Guns"! As a kid we didn't think anything of that, but it turns out that it WAS! It was just like this, but on a huge scale. I only found that out recently. The shot was into a big structure maybe the size of a house, the walls were screen. It all came out at once! I've seen a lot of videos where this popcorn cannon is on the street in a market. If I ever get to visit such a market, I'm going to buy some for sure!

Your question regarding addition of salt or msg, you missing the tire and asphalt particulates produced at same street level as popcorn, the vehicle making a continuous turbulent aro flow about treat maker hell the wind might be preventing airborne population from settling down on treats but the tire asphalt season is heavier and local.

Interesting. Saw another vendor who literally had the popcorn on the ground. Least this man had the popcorn on the cart where he keeps his cannon. He still uses his own hands to bag the popcorn and uses grocery bags to bag the popcorn and bags the popcorn with his bare hands. I'd suggest putting a table up, then getting some better bags, then putting a sample container up for people to sample. To encourage sales. Also to display a price would be nice. I wonder how much a bag like that goes for?

get real , that is the life of a street vendor in technically a first world country that treats its population as third world. What he makes from selling that is probably only just enough to pay for his rent and family food, its an existence lifestyle nothing more , that guy probably has a phone but very little else if that.
