I think the camo worked OK, especially the arid one, but the solid color in your combat shirts immediately gave your position away in every shot

For the most part, the actual patterned sections worked fairly well, the solid portions of the tops made it easier to spot in most instances for me

These newer patterns definitely seem much more effective than the old ones. The green pattern especially impressed me, I thought it wouldn't do very well in the more brown-ish conditions in fall/winter, but it seems to be doing very well indeed. For the brown variation, I think the flat, relatively bright solid color of the combat shirt gave you away a lot. Makes me wonder how it would look with a fully camouflaged uniform. The bright color itself obviously doesn't work so well at short to medium distances, but from what I read it should perform better at silhouetting at longer distances (similar as to why multicam does well at a large distance, even though it is a relatively bright pattern). Still definitely and interesting comparison! Thanks for the video Brent, absolutely awesome as always.

Damn, it's pretty good. I'd like to get a 6sh122 reversible suit, kind of similar concept of using lighter colours. I think it works a lot better than darker stuff that turn you into a big blob.

The Type 19 is already replaced with the Type 22. It's still called Starry Sky, but there are slight subtle differences.

We've got lots of their T97 Rifles here in Canada (5.56 version). It's pretty reliable but with crap ergonomics. It's cheap and it does the job. For some reason it wasn't part of the big "Assault-style Weapons" ban, so they're safe for now. I fired off a few shots. It's weird shooting a bullpup.

The green/ foliage variant is somewhat effective, the arid/ tan pattern washes out way too much, still spotted both of y'all almost immediately every time (which is a good thing for us lol). Nice!

Thise patterns are pretty decent given the environment, especially the green one.

This is one of the first camo vids ive watched where ive been able to find you so easily. definitely the "breathable" portion gives you away super easily but even then the camo didn't seem to blend the shape very well. the arid surprisingly was the easiest one to spot each time.

Whilst the green works for the Spring green-up, I think the arid variant will work better come late fall or in drier climes. The chest sections didn't help any, but the balaclavas+veils / drapes did.

It seems camo for extremes, like the arid would work well where it is VERY arid, and green work well where there is a A LOT of green vegetation. When there is a bit of space between things, it doesn't work so well. You have shown much more effective camo in other videos.

At the end of the day, it's all about movement. Game spots movement, above everything else. Being stealthy will beat any camo on the market. And no camo in existence allows you to move about unnoticed.

Would love for you to try out solid gray camo. It worked well for Germany since it manipulates sunlight

Brown was VG in that environment. Have to see the Green in spring / summer to compare...

The green uniform looks like what I saw the military police wearing in Urumqi, Xinjiang China from 2014 to 2016. They were everywhere, armored vehicles at the mall with the large machine gun mounted on top and pointed at us walking down the sidewalks.
