falling forward? he took a step down. Horrible on the field? UCLA has been ranked several times under Chip Kelly. Their offense was #8 in CFB 2 years ago. They lost their 5 year vet QB who is backup for the Browns now as well as their RB and a couple Oline. They were in a "rebuilding" year this year especially considering UCLA isn't stocked with talent to just "reload". Kelly is still a real good coach especially offense.

Chipster could not coach. Ask UCLA fans about all the horrific 4th down fails, losing at least 2 games per season to teams you were heavy favored against, leading the nation in horrific penalties, and never being able to recruit. And before you point out the upward swing last couple years in W-L record; they scheduled powerhouses such as: Hawaii, Alabama st, South Alabama, San Diego St, and Bowling Green.

UCLA fans need to realize their program is in the dumps. The isn't money there. Kelly is also a lazy recruiter which doesn't help a team that doesn't have great resources. That don't mean he can't coach offensive football.

As a UCLA fan and season ticket holder, we are all excited about the fake HC being gone. He is a glorified OC who has not been a good HC since the NFL and NCAA caught on to him like a decade ago.

UCLA will be the cellar team in the big 10. I dont see them getting a quality coach for several reasons. UCLA is pretty much broke,they dont care about football,they have no money for nil payments.Why would any coach buy into that mess????!!!!!!!!

UCLA in a real bad spot as far as resources go. UCLA falling further behind. joining Big 10 might help that but it will take a few years at least. Kelly is also lazy recruiter. Kelly wants to be a NFL OC. He got passed over for NFL OC jobs so he feels like going 8-5 at UCLA isn't going to be good enough to get him where he wants to go. However if Ohio State, which is already loaded on talent and almost recruits itself can win the Natty or have a top 5 offense or a heisman winner etc that might do more to get Kelly where he wants to go which long term is NFL OC

Idk if it's just me but that Spread soft ball his teams play get figured out and I'm not sure how well this will translate to a big 10 schedule. Their saving grace is the insane talent and production they get out of their WRs
