Chipmunks at Central Park in New York City 🐿

In early Summer, I visited the North Woods area of Central Park in New York. I went to the park primarily to watch birds and take bird photographs. But I saw Chipmunks for the first time in my life and followed them around! So, this video is all about Chipmunks. Enjoy watching those fluffy animals!

Thank you, Shannon-shimai 😀 There was a young lady who was feeding them nuts (she comes over frequently there) and she showed me her own videos where she was hand-feeding them at the same spot in the park. She also taught Blue Jays how to air-feed them by tossing nuts into the air and let them catch in the air! She was like a wizard of the forest! 🌳

Aw, these Chipmunks are so cute! 🥰 I have seen them with the birds sometimes in my backyard, but it’s every once in a blue moon. Chipmunks remind me of Carolina Wrens, both in terms of behavior and appearance, and they’re both pretty adorable! 😊 I still affectionately call Carolina Wrens “Chipmunk birds” every now and then. Thanks for sharing, and happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸🎆🎇🐿️

Your observation is adorable 😍 Carolina Wrens are exquisite singers in the forest for me and I adore their vocal music 🎵 Hope chipmunks in your area will return to your backyard soon! 🐿️
