This show definitely, but literal genre definitions on IMDB, was a comedy in season 1. The comical over-the-top situations were intended to be part of the show. The comedy genre dropped in season 2 but still had funny moments

I think there was a part where Ponch made Rosey get a new drivers licence & go to driving school .after Rosey found out it was Ponch , Ponch saw that he was in really Big Trouble when Rosey kept taking off his disguise . 😖😕😟 i think he wanted to get the heck out of there , Rosey " Knew IT was Ponch !! 🌟🌟🌟🌟😕

Just watched this on tv. How about turning the engine on thus creating the vacuum necessary for the brakes? Also he had the bus stopped before allowing it to travel forwards down hill, he could have just turned the steering wheel to angle it slightly back up hill and problem solved LOL.

☝ *"HOLD IT!"* ☝ Funny thing is, Ponch wasn't even working the *clutch pedal* -- you can tell from the sound of the *gears grinding* in the transmission -- since the runaway bus he was trying to stop was a *stick-shift (aka, a manual)* compared to buses today, which are primarily *automatics.*

The mistake that he made was in a manual you have to press on the clutch and the brake at the same time not using one two! He could have braked and also why was he trying to shift into 2 gear? Your supposed to go in first skier
